NSEO – Negative Split SEO
In endurance sport, going out too fast means you’ll hit failure before your competition.
The athletes who win run the second half faster – because they prepared for it, read the race correctly, and had the discipline not to blow their strategy early.
NSEO applies that principle to search.

What is NSEO?
NSEO (Negative Split SEO) is a proprietary search methodology developed by Rick Ashworth, founder of Yellow Lava. It sequences SEO work in five phases — Diagnostic, Foundation, Review Gate, Acceleration, and Consolidation — structured so that the diagnostic and structural work is complete before content investment begins. The result is a slower initial output curve and steeper later results, because the foundation is stable when acceleration starts.
The name derives from the endurance sport principle of the negative split: running the second half of a race faster than the first. Controlled early. Earned late.
